Tessa Jacobson

After graduating from the College of St. Scholastica with a major in Social Work, Tessa worked with families experiencing homelessness at CHUM in Duluth, MN. Tessa continued her advocacy work at CHUM while attending law school at Mitchell Hamline School of Law and raising her two children. During her time at Mitchell Hamline, she was afforded the opportunity to complete externships with the McConkey-Greene Law Office and the Sixth Judicial District Public Defender's office in Carlton County. After graduating in May of 2021, Tessa began working full time at the McConkey-Greene Law Office, with a focus on Indian Child Welfare, family law, and tribal representation, as well as providing representation to children in Child Protection proceedings in St. Louis County through a contract with the Sixth Judicial District Public Defender's office.

Tessa understands that effective attorneys are able to understand their clients' worries, needs, and desired outcomes. Her background in working with people and advocating for their needs and best interests builds a foundation of understanding and trust, which helps to pave the way to successful case resolution.
